Compressed air often contains moisture that can cause corrosion, reduce equipment performance, and shorten the lifespan of pneumatic systems. Refrigerated air dryers are designed to remove this moisture, providing clean and dry compressed air for a wide range of industrial applications. The new Ingersoll Rand RS Series and RT Series are both developed to deliver reliable drying performance while improving energy efficiency, system stability, and ease of operation.

Advanced Cooling Through Smarter Heat Exchange
Both dryer series use a high efficiency refrigeration system that combines advanced heat exchanger technology with high-performance refrigeration compressors. Depending on the model size, the units are equipped with reciprocating, rotary, or scroll compressors to achieve the best balance between cooling capacity and energy efficiency. Environmentally friendly refrigerants are also used to maintain reliable performance while supporting more sustainable operation.

To maximize drying performance, both series feature advanced heat exchanger designs that efficiently transfer heat and reduce the temperature of compressed air before it enters the drying process.
The RS Series adopts a newly developed reverse flow heat exchanger that improves air water separation, increases heat transfer efficiency, minimizes pressure loss, and maintains a low temperature difference between the air inlet and outlet. Meanwhile, the RT Series utilizes stainless steel brazed plate heat exchangers for smaller models and durable ALU-DRY aluminium heat exchangers for medium and large models, ensuring efficient and extended service life across different capacities.
Intelligent Monitoring and Stable Performance
Modern compressed air systems require more than just cooling, they also need reliable monitoring to maintain consistent performance. The RS Series features a clear and user-friendly control panel that displays important operating information, including compressor status, fan operation, frost indication, over temperature alerts, power supply, and fault notifications. Similarly, the RT Series is equipped with intelligent controllers that monitor dew point, temperature, and overall operating conditions in real time. Selected models also support RS485 communication, making integration with factory monitoring systems easier.

Built for Reliability and System Protection
To ensure dependable operation over the long term, both dryer series include comprehensive protection features. These include compressor overload protection, high- and low-pressure protection, high temperature protection, and manual or automatic reset functions to help maintain safe operation. Larger RT Series models also provide phase loss and phase reversal protection for additional electrical safety. The RS Series further enhances reliability with an automatic hot gas bypass valves system that adjusts cooling capacity according to changing load conditions, preventing freezing while maintaining a stable dew point.

Together, the Ingersoll Rand RS Series and RT Series provide dependable compressed air-drying solutions that combine efficient heat exchange, intelligent monitoring, and advanced protection features. Their robust design helps industries improve compressed air quality, reduce maintenance requirements, and achieve more efficient and reliable production processes.
